Description For Support Engineer IV

Alexa Shopping Operations is seeking a Support Engineer IV to join their team focused on dataset generation and annotations for AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role is crucial in enhancing customer experience across shopping features, devices, and locales. The position involves working with cutting-edge technology to empower Amazon's LLMs through Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF).

As a Support Engineer IV, you'll be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on various services, providing critical support, and working closely with development teams. The role requires strong technical skills in debugging, code analysis, and system troubleshooting. You'll be expected to mentor other engineers, contribute to documentation, and develop tools for improving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of software development or technical support experience, with strong skills in modern programming languages and system troubleshooting. Knowledge of distributed applications and UNIX/Linux systems is preferred.   • Become a subject matter expert on one or more services
