Amazon's Global Selling team is building a revolutionary cross-border fulfillment platform that enables commerce across multiple countries. This role is part of the cross-border FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) team, focusing on small parcel and Freight logistics services across air, ocean, and ground transportation. The platform serves as an international marketplace for global sellers, offering Amazon-negotiated pricing, seller support, payment protection, package tracking, and ML-driven recommendations.

The team is at an exciting growth phase, having launched a stable production version of the logistics marketplace across 10+ lanes and multiple consumer marketplaces. The platform leverages cutting-edge technologies including AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda), Docker, and Kubernetes. This is a strategic initiative for Amazon's consumer leadership, aimed at supporting the multi-billion dollar cross-border e-commerce market.

As a Support Engineer, you'll join a collaborative, fun-loving team of innovators who work together to solve complex problems. You'll be instrumental in scaling the platform to multiple new regions, maintaining self-healing systems, and evolving the platform towards building a Cleartrip-like marketplace experience for cross-border logistics services.

Responsibilities For Support Engineer, SEND (Seller Export and Delivery)

  • Scale the product to world-wide global sellers by optimising/tuning the tech stack
  • Maintain self-healing systems to ensure streamlined operations
  • Configure system to enhance adaptability for compliance requirements
  • Maintain global supply chain solutions to optimise inventory placement locations
  • Customize and tune critical parts of the tech stack
  • Take ownership of launching new lanes and optimize the lane launch process
  • Deep dive into customer issues and identify root cause fixes
  • Own various tracks to ensure high bar on operational excellence

Requirements For Support Engineer, SEND (Seller Export and Delivery)
