Description For Support Engineer, Vulnerability Management , AWS Vulnerability Management

Amazon is seeking a Support Engineer to join the AWS Security organization. This role is accountable for the end-to-end software vulnerability lifecycle across all aspects of AWS. The team is responsible for building the platform that monitors intelligence, detects vulnerabilities, drives remediation response, and drives innovation to meet the scale and demand of all AWS customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with AWS internal services through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/live chat)
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions for service teams on vulnerability remediation
  • Improving and automating existing services
  • Providing escalation and mentoring for junior team members
  • Engaging with cutting-edge technology and systems
  • Working directly with AWS service teams, partner security teams, and administrative teams
  • Driving process improvements and working with service owners to mitigate risk

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong technical background in software development
