AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a Python Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team, focusing on the AWS Nitro card software quality. This role is part of Annapurna Labs, an Amazon company that develops Nitro cards - dedicated hardware components with powerful 64-bit processing capabilities and specialized ASICs. The position involves working with embedded systems, developing test automation solutions, and ensuring the quality of critical cloud infrastructure components.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining automation frameworks, optimizing CI/CD processes, and managing both on-premises and cloud testing environments. You'll work closely with software development teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software, applying your expertise in Python programming and embedded systems testing.

Responsibilities For SW Automation Engineer, Annapurna

  • Development of test automation solution for embedded systems and components
  • Designing and defining test plans

Requirements For SW Automation Engineer, Annapurna

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
  • 2+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
  • Proficiency in Python programming, including object-oriented design and scripting for test automation
  • Experience in testing and quality assurance for hardware-software interfaces of embedded systems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD frameworks, processes and tools for continuous testing and integration
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, including command-line operations, scripting, and system administration tasks
  • Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based testing environments
