Responsibilities For System Development Engineer, DRIVE Lab

  • Participate in strategic Deployment Readiness projects
  • Interface with field deployment and hardware design teams
  • Define deployment metrics
  • Validate and provide feedback to deployment models
  • Conduct lab experimentations to improve deployment rate, efficiency, and scalability
  • Conduct field trials and analyze data to measure deployment process performance
  • Propose, validate, and document best practices
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • System design, implementation, and integration

Requirements For System Development Engineer, DRIVE Lab

Python
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical, Manufacturing, Operations Research, Industrial or Software Engineering, Physics, or equivalent through experience
  • 7+ years relevant experience in engineering, with at least one position in team leadership roles
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g. python, Matlabs)
  • Experience with systems testing and validation, including end-to-end system integration
  • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize complex workstreams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
