Responsibilities For System Development Engineer, Engineering (GES/GEIST)
- Ensure system reliability, manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them swiftly
- Implement comprehensive monitoring systems, track performance metrics, and address anomalies proactively
- Automate infrastructure processes, manage continuous deployment, and ensure efficient resource allocation
- Work with security teams to ensure systems meet compliance standards
- Implement chaos engineering practices in non-production environments
- Develop internal tools for automation, data analysis, reporting, and publishing insights
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production workflows
- Create systems to aggregate, analyze, and publish customer feedback
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap by identifying, prioritizing, and executing projects
- Understand complex technologies and diverse customer use cases to generate solutions
Requirements For System Development Engineer, Engineering (GES/GEIST)
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- 5+ years of DevOps or SysOps in a large-scale software development environment experience
