The Transaction Storage & Config (TSC) team at Amazon is seeking a System Development Engineer to join their innovative team. This role focuses on enabling the movement of critical Amazon data, allowing business service workloads to operate in regions of their choice. The position offers an opportunity to work on architecture that will improve customer latency through local affinity to compute resources and reduce the blast radius in case of region failures.

The TSC organization supports Amazon builders by providing technologies for Transaction Storage, high cardinality configuration storages, and safe movement of Amazon Data. Their projects support major Amazon businesses including Stores, Alexa, Kindle, and Prime Video. The team drives adoption of ever-evolving AWS and non-AWS technologies, working closely with AWS teams to improve public offerings.

As a System Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering efficiency initiatives, building tools, maintaining infrastructure, and engaging with stakeholders.
