Description For System Development Engineer I, Vega OS

Amazon Lab126, a pioneering subsidiary of Amazon.com founded in 2004, is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join their Device OS team. This role is integral to the development of innovative consumer electronics, including the Kindle family, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Echo, and Dash Button.

The position focuses on building and delivering T1 cloud services for Device OS, working with cutting-edge technology to support millions of devices. You'll be part of a world-class team that develops scalable cloud solutions enabling partners to quickly build and launch services/devices cost-effectively.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you'll contribute to implementing technical initiatives identified in multi-year business-critical cloud technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include creating AWS infrastructure through CDK, managing deployments, monitoring system health, and automating processes. You'll work closely with Platform and application teams to ensure the highest quality deliverables.
