Responsibilities For System Development Engineer II, Engineering Integration

  • Design and develop controls for robotics systems and industrial automation equipment integration
  • Design and improve system controls architecture including machine control code, networking, electrical design and safety design
  • Develop controls code utilizing structured text and ladder-logic on CodeSys and Studio 5000 platforms
  • Identify and implement system optimizations
  • Contribute to value engineering of system's electrical and controls hardware components
  • Support onsite system testing (50% travel expected)

  • 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
  • 5+ years of control system working experience in PLC-based controls design, development, implementation and support

  • Experience deploying and supporting industrial automation products at scale
