System Development Engineer II, Systems Development (Miracle Team)

AWS is seeking experienced Systems Development Engineers to support U.S. Intelligence Community agencies in implementing innovative cloud computing solutions. This role focuses on developing and automating software development pipelines and workloads within AWS's secure environment. The position requires strong Linux/Unix knowledge, programming skills, and the ability to think at "Amazon scale" to create sustainable solutions.

The role is part of various teams including ADC2S, AWS Cutlass, and Region Services, working on maintaining commercial parity in air-gapped regions and automating AWS deployments. Engineers will work autonomously while building strong relationships with service team counterparts to resolve complex technical challenges.

The position offers the opportunity to work at Amazon's new headquarters in Northern Virginia, part of a $2.5 billion investment creating 25,000 new jobs. The role requires maintaining an active TS/SCI security clearance and possibly additional clearances based on specific government agency requirements.
