System Development Engineer II, Systems Development (Miracle Team)

AWS is seeking experienced Systems Development Engineers to support U.S. Intelligence Community agencies in implementing innovative cloud computing solutions. This role combines software development expertise with systems engineering, requiring strong Linux/Unix knowledge and programming skills. The position involves working with AWS service teams to ensure consistent customer experiences across commercial and air-gapped AWS regions.

The role demands expertise in designing, deploying, automating, and operating systems at Amazon scale. Engineers will be responsible for troubleshooting, deployment validation, service monitoring, and implementing new services/tools. The position requires collaboration with various internal Software Development teams to drive systems improvement within the team's scope.

The role requires US citizenship and TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The compensation package is comprehensive, ranging from $116,300 to $201,200 based on geographic location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and extensive benefits.
