Description For System Development Engineer, Managed Operations

AWS Managed Operations (MO) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join their team focused on reducing operational load and improving AWS Regions' reliability. This role combines hands-on operations with engineering innovation, offering a unique opportunity to work on some of the largest software systems ever built. As part of the Utility Computing organization, you'll support critical AWS services including S3, EC2, and more.

The position offers a balanced workload: 50% operating production systems and 50% implementing long-term improvements. You'll tackle challenges from root cause analysis to automation development, working with cutting-edge cloud technologies.
