AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a System Development Engineer to join their team responsible for managing and maintaining critical network infrastructure tools and systems. This role is part of the team that keeps AWS's cloud infrastructure running smoothly, supporting all AWS data centers and their components.

The position requires a strong background in Linux/Unix Systems Administration and development skills in languages like Python, Ruby, Go, or Java. You'll be working with large-scale infrastructure, managing tools that support thousands of network devices crucial to AWS services. The role involves maintaining systems that track loss and incident correlation, scaling network devices, and managing monitoring tools.

As a System Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex systems, deploying new versions, conducting validation testing, and establishing new services within US GovCloud and other government air-gapped regions. The position requires an active Top Secret security clearance and US citizenship, with the need to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
