System Development Engineer, WW AMZL Innovation and Design Engineering

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to lead software development for robotic products in their future Delivery Stations. This role combines robotics, engineering, and software development expertise to enhance Amazon's last-mile automation capabilities.

The position sits within the Amazon Logistics Innovation Engineering team, where you'll be responsible for developing and managing software for robotics technologies. You'll work with cutting-edge automation systems, including industrial protocols, camera systems, and complex mechatronics products.

Key technical areas include industrial automation systems (TIA Portal 16+, Codesys 3.5), industrial communication protocols (TCP-IP, OPC-UA), and various programming languages. You'll collaborate with diverse teams including Robotics, SW Tech, Process Engineering, Operations, and Facilities to improve customer experience.
