Description For System Engineering Manager - Salesforce Tech Stack, Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations

Project Kuiper is an ambitious Amazon initiative focused on delivering fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As a Salesforce Systems Engineer Manager in Kuiper's Commercial Revenue Operations, you'll lead a team of skilled engineers and architects implementing critical solutions from offer-to-contract and order-to-activate processes.

The role involves architecting and maintaining robust B2B ecommerce infrastructure using technologies like Salesforce CPQ, Vlocity, Contract Lifecycle Management, and APEX. You'll work closely with product managers, technical program managers, and software engineers to define and develop technical solutions that support Kuiper's mission.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of Salesforce Engineers, driving operational excellence through monitoring and automation, overseeing system reliability, and championing incident management across multiple technology stacks. You'll be instrumental in implementing solutions using DevOps and enterprise security best practices while mentoring entry-level and mid-level engineers.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $149,700 to $258,800 per year based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. You'll be part of the Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations team, responsible for driving business strategy, product management, and customer adoption for Kuiper's commercial business.

This role requires expertise in Salesforce technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. You'll play a crucial role in building the infrastructure that will help bridge the digital divide globally.   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or operations
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams
  • 2+ years of experience and certification on Salesforce CPQ, Vlocity and ESM
  • 2+ years of experience with APEX
  • Knowledge and experience of deploying solutions using Copado and Gearset
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee due to export control laws
