Description For System Integration & Manufacturing Engineer, Nitro

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a System Integration & Manufacturing Engineer to join their Nitro Cards product team. This role is part of Annapurna Labs, focusing on advanced server technologies incorporating PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet interfaces used across AWS data centers. The position involves working with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, managing relationships with server manufacturers, and ensuring quality control in the production process.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring and optimizing manufacturing test processes, collaborating with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), and maintaining high-quality standards for AWS's server infrastructure. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and product integration teams, to ensure seamless integration and optimal server performance.

Responsibilities For System Integration & Manufacturing Engineer, Nitro

  • Collaborate with Server Manufacturers and maintain relationships with AWS server Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs)
  • Monitor & Analyze manufacturing test results and perform in-depth analysis
  • Define and improve test methodologies to enhance coverage, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Identify and resolve quality process gaps within the server manufacturing process
  • Collaborate with internal teams at Annapurna Labs and AWS teams
  • Debug complex hardware issues during manufacturing
  • Participate in design reviews for new server platforms

Requirements For System Integration & Manufacturing Engineer, Nitro

  • B.Sc. in Electrical / Computer / SW Engineering
  • At least 5 years Design / Integration / HW System engineering Experience
  • 3+ years experience working with systems and their SW, FW and HW components
  • Basic skills in scripting: Python / Bash etc.
