Systems Development Engineer, AI/ML Amazon Dedicated Cloud

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to join their AI/ML Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team, focusing on delivering secure, advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to government and enterprise customers in isolated, air-gapped environments. This role combines cutting-edge cloud technology with high-security requirements, making it unique in the tech industry.

The position requires working with U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies to implement innovative cloud computing solutions while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting resilient, high-performance systems for government customers operating in air-gapped regions.

As part of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll work with foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, while contributing to new product innovations. The role involves working with services like SageMaker, Comprehend, Translate, Transcribe, Textract, Rekognition, and Bedrock in US ADC regions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Linux and networking fundamentals, experience with infrastructure automation, and proficiency in modern programming languages. You'll need to think at scale, as solutions will be deployed across thousands of devices. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
