Description For Systems Development Engineer II, Region Reliability: ADC Tiger Team

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to join their ADC Tiger Team (ATT), a specialized development team focused on scaling US Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) regions. This role is at the forefront of delivering impactful projects that drive growth and efficiency of ADC regions.

The position requires working on critical projects involving automation of ADC Region Operations, development priorities, and strategic service operations improvements. You'll be part of AWS, the world's leading cloud platform, working within the Utility Computing organization that provides foundational services like S3 and EC2.

The ideal candidate will have strong systems engineering background with at least 5 years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems. Programming proficiency in languages like Python, Java, Go, or Ruby is essential. A current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
