Systems Development Engineer: Intelligent Building Systems, FinAuto GREF Technology

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Tech team at Amazon is seeking a passionate Systems Development Engineer to join their Finance Automation division. This role is crucial in developing services and products that manage Amazon's massive corporate real estate footprint across 60+ countries. The team is responsible for creating technology that simplifies corporate real estate management processes, including space planning, design and construction, employee health and safety, and building management systems.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on systems that impact hundreds of millions of customers globally. You'll be leading the development of intelligent systems that serve as the nervous system for the world's largest corporate building fleet. The team's north star is establishing standards for operational technology in GREF buildings, improving building environmental controls, space utilization, and energy consumption management.

The GREF Tech team is in an exciting growth phase, expanding from 20 to 120 team members by 2025, with 13 specialized charters. You'll be working on systems that manage over 500 Amazon buildings, affecting facility engineering teams and the daily experience of Amazonians in corporate offices.
