Systems Development Engineer, Tech Deploy- Systems Integration

Amazon is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join their Technology Deployment - Systems Integration team. This role is part of Amazon's global initiative to develop and deliver next-generation fulfillment systems through advanced technology. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with engineering experience in integrated automation project lifecycle.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you'll serve as a crucial link between Fulfillment Center Operations and product development engineers. The role involves owning deployment process development, validation, and testing through lab and field activities. You'll be responsible for integrating, deploying, and troubleshooting advanced technology systems while providing feedback to internal and external partners.

The position requires strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams and the ability to capture and synthesize customer feedback. You'll work within Amazon's innovative culture, which encourages engineers to take high ownership in solving complex problems. The role involves significant travel (up to 75%) throughout North America.

Key technical requirements include experience with Unix/Linux systems, AWS services, and control systems including PLC/IPC based controls. Knowledge of industrial networking, automation solutions, and material handling systems is highly valued.
