The AWS Field Experiences (AFX) team owns analytics solutions/infrastructure that enable AWS sales team to obsess over customers and make proactive, data-driven recommendations that position AWS as a strategic business partner in addition to a world-class cloud computing provider. We are seeking a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Systems Engineer to help evolve and maintain 1P/3P tooling and raise the bar on security, availability, and scalability.
Key responsibilities:
- Build/maintain 1P/3P infrastructure and security standards
- Identify and resolve issues, automate and improve repetitive processes
- Work closely with the development team to identify operational needs
- Become familiar with system architecture and dive deep into code
- Drive prioritization of operational issues and automation design & scaling requirements

Requirements For Systems Engineer-I, AWS Field Experiences
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
