Description For Systems Engineer, MSP - SEIT

Amazon, a pioneer in sophisticated supply chain solutions, is seeking an Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer to join their initiative in developing next-generation fulfillment systems. This role combines advanced technology with world-class engineering to drive innovation in automation and delivery systems. The position requires expertise in the complete engineering lifecycle, from ideation through deployment, focusing on systems architecture, requirements analysis, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE).

The ideal candidate will bring 12 years of systems engineering experience and strong capabilities in architectural design, requirements management, and test planning. They will work with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, including SysML, Agile, and various modeling tools, to solve complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities For Systems Engineer, MSP - SEIT

  • Developing operational candidate architectures, concepts, requirements, and architectural designs
  • Conducting and analyzing requirements flow down, propose verification methodologies and mitigation approaches
  • Conducting model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and modeling, simulation and analysis
  • Developing Test Objectives and scope by program phase
  • Developing products and lead program design reviews
  • Assisting in Configuration Management of the program technical baseline

Requirements For Systems Engineer, MSP - SEIT

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering Science
  • Twelve (12) years' experience as a SE in similar scope programs
  • Understanding and working knowledge of SysML
  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with system modeling tools (Cameo, Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw)
  • Experience with requirements management tools like Jama, Polarion, DOORS
  • Experience in MBSE-related Digital Engineering activities
  • Experience in development of Test & execution plans
  • 15% National Travel required
