Amazon Robotics is seeking an Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer to join their dynamic Manipulation Robotics group. As a Systems Engineer/Architect, you'll be at the forefront of developing robotic material handling products that enhance safety and efficiency across Amazon's Fulfillment Network.

Responsibilities For Systems Engineer/Architect, Amazon Robotics
- Define and explore design space for multidisciplinary robotics and automation problems
- Identify and analyze cross-functional tradeoffs between design alternatives
- Break down and frame problems using con-ops, use cases, and system representations
- Identify design choices to ensure product safety, reliability, and usability
- Build quantitative models and analyses using Excel, MATLAB, Python
- Perform technical risk assessments
- Develop system integration and evaluation strategies
- Drive and prioritize execution of system test campaigns
Requirements For Systems Engineer/Architect, Amazon Robotics
- BS or equivalent experience in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline
- 6+ years of experience
- Experience with eliciting and clarifying business and end user needs
- Experience participating in or leading technical collaborations
- Ability to analyze dependencies, tradeoffs, and sensitivities
