Description For Technical Account Manager

AWS is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as a crucial bridge between enterprise customers and AWS cloud services. This role combines technical expertise with customer relationship management, requiring you to help large enterprises navigate their cloud computing challenges. You'll be the primary operational point of contact for key customers, supporting their entire software development lifecycle and cloud operations.

As a TAM, you'll work with some of AWS's largest customers, helping them leverage cloud efficiencies and innovations. Your responsibilities will span from technical troubleshooting to strategic planning, ensuring customer applications are well-designed and can scale for major global events like the Super Bowl and Olympics. You'll need to balance technical depth with business acumen, as you'll regularly engage with C-level executives while also diving deep into architectural discussions.

The role demands a unique combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and strategic thinking. You'll be part of AWS's Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) team, driving revenue and adoption across various customer segments. Responsibilities For Technical Account Manager

  • Champion and advocate for Enterprise customers within AWS
  • Solve technical issues and work directly with AWS engineers
  • Participate in deep architectural discussions
  • Help Enterprise customers define IT and business processes
  • Engage with Director and C-Level executives
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning
  • Analyze and present operational reviews to customer leadership

Requirements For Technical Account Manager

  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting across GenAI, AI/ML, Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development
  • Passion with a high learning drive
  • Ability to tackle various tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
