Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join their Enterprise Support ISV segment. This role represents an opportunity to be part of one of AWS's fastest-growing organizations, focusing on helping Independent Software Vendor customers maximize their AWS services value. As a TAM, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and operational excellence expert for Enterprise Support ISV customers who build software solutions using AWS services.

The role combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen, requiring you to develop deep relationships with customers at all levels. You'll be responsible for understanding both business needs and technical challenges, helping customers achieve optimal value from cloud technologies. Your work will involve providing strategic technical guidance, implementing best practices, and ensuring operational health of AWS environments.

Key aspects of the role include consulting on architecture, cost optimization, security, and performance, while maintaining direct relationships with stakeholders from developer level to C-suite. You'll collaborate across AWS teams, including Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and Sales Account Managers, to deliver comprehensive support to customers.

The position requires fluency in both French and English, with experience in technical account management, solutions architecture, or similar roles. Understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly in areas like compute, storage, networking, and databases is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with SaaS and multitenant architectures.

Responsibilities For Technical Account Manager, EMEA-ISV France

  • Guide, consult, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer within AWS
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy and optimized
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, architecture, and risk management
  • Consult with stakeholders from developers through to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and Sales teams
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and metrics
  • Plan and execute pre-launch planning

Requirements For Technical Account Manager, EMEA-ISV France

Linux
  • Experience as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, or similar role
  • Understanding of operational parameters in Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, DevOps
  • Customer-facing experience with ability to present to audiences
  • Ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Experience with SaaS and multitenant architectures (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (preferred)
