As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you'll join the Enterprise Support team to drive customer success in cloud adoption. This senior role combines technical expertise with customer relationship management, requiring 5+ years of experience in technical consulting or similar roles. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise accounts, providing strategic guidance, technical recommendations, and operational support throughout their cloud journey.

You'll work closely with AWS engineers to resolve customer issues, plan launches, and ensure successful cloud migrations. Responsibilities For Technical Account Manager, ES - ANZ

  • Act as a single point of contact to Enterprise Accounts
  • Understand customers outcomes and business goals
  • Make AWS service improvement recommendations
  • Evaluate and present periodic reviews of operational performance
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and metrics
  • Champion customer requirements within AWS
  • Participate in customer meetings
  • Plan and execute business-critical events including launches and migrations
  • Work directly with AWS engineers to resolve customer issues

Requirements For Technical Account Manager, ES - ANZ

Linux
  • Experience in at least two technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present to small and large audiences
  • Computer Science or Math background preferred
  • Working knowledge of software development practices
  • Experience with AWS technologies preferred
  • Solid understanding of technology budget management
