Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join their Enterprise Support team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role combines technical expertise with customer relationship management to help organizations maximize their AWS cloud investments. As a trusted advisor, you'll work with diverse clients ranging from startups to large enterprises, providing architectural guidance, operational support, and strategic consulting.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of relevant experience in technical account management, solutions architecture, or similar roles. You'll need deep expertise in multiple technical domains such as system administration, networking, DevOps, or security. This role requires excellent communication skills as you'll interact with stakeholders at all levels, from developers to C-suite executives.

Responsibilities For Technical Account Manager, ES - ASEAN

  • Provide consultative architectural and operational guidance to help customers achieve value from AWS
  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for customers
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Consult with partners from developers through to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and detailed prelaunch planning
  • Provide post-sales consultative expertise
  • Solve problems across different customers during cloud migration
  • Conduct workshops and brown bag sessions to uplift customer capabilities

Requirements For Technical Account Manager, ES - ASEAN

  • 5+ years experience in Technical Account Management, Consulting, Solutions Architecture, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Service Delivery Management
  • Expertise in two or more technical domains (system administration, networking, programming, DevOps, security, compute, storage, databases, big data, analytics)
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience
  • Ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences
  • Professional experience with AWS and/or other cloud platforms (preferred)
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD (preferred)
