AWS Enterprise Support is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join one of their fastest-growing organizations. This role represents a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of cloud technology innovation, working with AWS's comprehensive suite of services. As a TAM, you'll serve as the principal technical advisor for customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, helping them maximize their AWS investment.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, and Application-level Services. You'll be responsible for crafting and executing strategies to drive customer adoption of AWS services, while providing strategic technical guidance and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is not a sales role, but rather a technical advisory position requiring deep technical knowledge and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities For Technical Account Manager, Telco Vertical

  • Act as principal technical advisor and voice of the customer
  • Craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption of AWS services
  • Drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance
  • Help plan and build solutions using best practices
  • Proactively maintain customers' AWS environments operational health
  • Understand customers' business/operational needs and technical challenges

Requirements For Technical Account Manager, Telco Vertical

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in technical engineering
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
  • Experience in software design/development, CDN, scripting/automation, database architecture, IP networking, IT security, BigData/Hadoop/Spark, operations management, or service oriented architecture
  • Practical knowledge of 5G network architecture
  • Ability to travel 10% or more as needed
