Description For Technical Site Due Diligence Manager, Risk & Resiliency

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Technical Site Due Diligence Manager to play a crucial role in datacenter site selection and technical due diligence. This position involves leading technical site due diligence projects and partnering with stakeholders across the AWS infrastructure organization to shape the future of AWS' infrastructure growth and investments. The role requires strong technical program management skills and the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

As part of AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, you'll work on challenging problems involving thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in technical program management, demonstrated ability to deliver multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, and expertise in driving alignment across teams with competing priorities. You'll be responsible for evaluating site risks, managing budgets, establishing schedules, and making trade-offs based on business priorities.

Requirements For Technical Site Due Diligence Manager, Risk & Resiliency

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • 5-7+ years of technical program or project management experience
  • Multidisciplinary concept/preliminary design experience
  • Background in civil engineering, architecture, environmental sciences, or similar technical disciplines
