Description For Technical Support Engineer, Amazon Robotics Technical Support (ARTS)

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their global Robotics Technical Support team. This role combines software development expertise with technical support to ensure the smooth operation of Amazon's robotic systems across fulfillment and sortation facilities worldwide. Working in a Sun-Thurs schedule (9-5 pm EST), you'll be part of a 24/7 global support operation, handling critical incidents and providing solutions to complex technical challenges.

The position requires strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise to analyze and resolve software/hardware issues. You'll work with multiple data sources and collaborate closely with development teams to implement solutions. The role involves managing high-severity incidents, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate between multiple teams during critical situations.

As part of a global team spanning the US, EU, and Asia-Pacific, you'll have access to comprehensive training, including onsite experience and mentorship. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer, Amazon Robotics Technical Support (ARTS)

  • Deep-dive, analyze, mitigate or resolve technical issues escalated by Amazon Robotics Facilities
  • Utilize multiple data sources, dashboards and logs to pinpoint and resolve software/hardware defects
  • Collaborate with development/software teams to create viable solutions
  • Manage high severity incidents and coordinate service restoration
  • Implement changes using Change Management best practices
  • Provide 24/7 remote technical support via tickets, phone and chat
  • Work Sun-Thurs 9-5 pm EST schedule with on-call responsibilities
