Description For Technical Support Engineer, Amazon Robotics Technical Support (ARTS)

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their global Robotics Technical Support team. This role combines technical problem-solving with customer support in a fast-paced robotics environment. As part of a global team spanning the US, EU, and Asia-Pacific, you'll provide critical support for Amazon's automated fulfillment centers.

The position requires working Tuesday through Saturday, 9-5 PM EST, supporting Amazon's 24/7 operations. You'll be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, managing high-severity incidents, and collaborating with development teams to implement solutions. The role involves using various data sources and dashboards to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in technical support or software development who wants to work with cutting-edge robotics technology. The team offers comprehensive training, including both remote and on-site mentoring, and the chance to work directly with Amazon's innovative fulfillment and sortation facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with scripting languages, system troubleshooting, and a strong foundation in technical support. Knowledge of web services and distributed systems is a plus. Responsibilities For Technical Support Engineer, Amazon Robotics Technical Support (ARTS)

  • Deep-dive, analyze, mitigate or resolve technical issues escalated by Amazon Robotics Facilities
  • Utilize multiple data sources, dashboards and logs to pinpoint and resolve software/hardware defects
  • Collaborate with development/software teams to create viable solutions
  • Manage high severity incidents and coordinate real-time service restoration
  • Implement changes using Change Management best practices
  • Provide remote technical support via tickets, phone and chat
  • Work as part of a global team providing 24/7 coverage

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer, Amazon Robotics Technical Support (ARTS)
