Responsibilities For Test Engineer, Avionics

  • Work with stakeholders to define test strategy and requirements
  • Define electrical component and subsystem test plans for space applications
  • Lead planning and execution of design verification test, qualification, reliability, and production test campaigns
  • Support test system architecture, equipment selection, PCB design, harness design, and system integration
  • Lead test system design reviews, test plan reviews, and test results reviews
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including electrical, RF, mechanical engineering, software, and manufacturing

Requirements For Test Engineer, Avionics

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with lab equipment like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, electronic loads, power supplies, network analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes
  • 5+ years testing with SoCs, DRAMs, FPGAs, multi-gigabit interfaces, power converters, sensors, operational amplifiers, and ADCs/DACs
  • Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools
  • Experience with complex board designs
  • Experience with debugging designs with microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensors
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee due to export control laws
