Responsibilities For UPS Battery Maintenance Engineer, DCC Communities

  • Apply preventative maintenance testing techniques for UPS batteries across data centers
  • Act as a safety ambassador within the team
  • Comply with security protocols
  • Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and management
  • Work with engineers to develop solutions to complex problems
  • Develop and maintain working relationships across organization
  • Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Provide support for LSE, weather events, planned, and unplanned outages
  • Provide cross functional support for ATS and Non-destructive testing teams

Requirements For UPS Battery Maintenance Engineer, DCC Communities

Linux
  • 1+ year of experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or relevant technical discipline (alternative to experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly autonomous
  • Expert level understanding of battery systems
