Responsibilities For Water Infrastructure Manager, AWS Water Team

  • Plan and implement water and wastewater infrastructure projects for data centers
  • Negotiate utility system contracts and connection agreements
  • Engineer and monitor water treatment/operations projects
  • Work with internal teams for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Coordinate with local water utilities for compliance and requirements
  • Track and manage reliability and maintenance of water systems
  • Develop resiliency plans for water supply sources
  • Deliver water sustainability projects
  • Oversee testing/validation of water treatment equipment
  • Interface with internal teams for infrastructure solutions

Requirements For Water Infrastructure Manager, AWS Water Team

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Civil Engineering or Water Resources Planning
  • 5+ years experience building relationships with utilities
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience
  • 5+ years working with water chemistry and treatment technologies
  • 5+ years reading and interpreting construction drawings
  • Up to 25% travel as needed
