Description For Software Engineer

Ambrook is a Series A startup revolutionizing sustainability for family-run businesses, starting with farmers and ranchers across America. As one of their first engineers, you'll play a crucial role in building their accounting, banking, and payments platform that helps operators understand their numbers and access capital for sustainable transitions.

The company is tackling the intersection of climate impact and financial sustainability, backed by notable investors including Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, Homebrew, and Designer Fund. Their tech stack includes Next.js/React with TypeScript, hosted on Google Cloud, utilizing Firestore & Google Cloud Storage for data storage, and BigQuery & Data Studio for insights.

The role offers a unique opportunity to influence technical decisions and product direction while working on meaningful solutions for agricultural sustainability. Within your first months, you'll own feature delivery, improve infrastructure, collaborate with the product team, and deeply understand farm finance needs.

The ideal candidate should have experience with web applications and be passionate about building sustainable solutions for agriculture. You'll work in a culture that values real talk, understanding, resourcefulness, and thoughtful risk-taking. The position offers competitive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, and various stipends for professional development and wellness.

Join Ambrook to help make sustainability profitable for America's independent businesses while working with a mission-driven team that's reshaping the future of agricultural finance.
