DataOps - Senior Data Engineer

Fetch, America's Rewards App, is seeking a DataOps - Senior Data Engineer to join their data team. This role is crucial in designing and building scalable data pipelines and transformation systems to process terabytes of daily data. The ideal candidate will drive initiatives for robust data governance, collaborating across teams to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant data management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing real-time and batch data processing pipelines using technologies like Apache Kafka and Flink
• Creating efficient data pipelines in AWS cloud, using technologies like Apache Spark
• Implementing schema management and data quality checks
• Developing tools for rapid data product development
• Designing and maintaining data governance frameworks
• Mentoring junior engineers and promoting DataOps practices

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with experience in:

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• CI/CD processes for data applications
• Data quality assurance tools and frameworks
• Scalable data pipeline design and maintenance
• Modern programming languages (Go, Python, Java, Rust) and SQL
