Responsibilities For Entry Level Transportation Engineer
- Support projects involving data collection, existing condition and alternative analysis evaluation for engineering reports
- Development of horizontal and vertical alignments, performing cross-section and super-elevation design
- Roadway modeling, development of transportation infrastructure plans
- Computing quantity takeoffs
Requirements For Entry Level Transportation Engineer
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Engineering-in-Training Certification (or ability to obtain in 6-12 months) preferred
- Prior internship or work experience preferred
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Bentley Microstation/InRoads or Open Roads preferred
- Knowledge of civil engineering design and construction surveying concepts
- Experience with MS Office products including Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
