Description For QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating software functions and designing test protocols to ensure products work as intended. You'll join the Engineering department, working on building business intelligence applications to solve practical marketing analytics problems. Your role involves coordinating with Engineering and Product Managers, designing and executing complex software testing procedures, and recommending improvements to enhance user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, writing, and executing complex software testing procedures
  • Building and implementing software evaluation test programs
  • Running test programs and tweaking systems for maximum performance
  • Finalizing and documenting testing procedures
  • Presenting test reports and suggesting software fixes

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a software Test/QA Engineer
  • In-depth understanding of Python, Javascript, Single SPA frameworks, and HTML
  • Experience with Playwright, Selenium
  • Bonus experience: JIRA, GitHub, Solid Agile SDLC foundation

Responsibilities For QA Engineer

  • Coordinate with Engineering and Product Managers to understand software specifications
  • Design, write, and execute complex software testing procedures
  • Build, code, and implement software evaluation test programs
  • Run test programs to ensure testing protocols evaluate the software correctly
  • Tweak the software testing systems for maximum performance
  • Finalize and document testing procedures
  • Complete final tests and create test reports
  • Present test reports to management and suggest software fixes
  • Use the software as intended to analyze its functional properties
  • Design manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience

Requirements For QA Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a software Test/QA Engineer
  • In-depth understanding of Python, Javascript, Single SPA frameworks and HTML
