Anduril Industries is seeking a Test Automation engineer to design and deliver test systems for electronic products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering turnkey test solutions for electronic components and systems, with a background in hardware, software, integration, and sustainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead End of Line test plan definition for new products and features
- Determine test strategies optimizing product safety, reliability, and risk mitigation
- Design and execute PCBA and electrical system component testing
- Analyze data and communicate results to resolve product issues
- Design and implement next-generation test automation hardware systems
- Manage purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional testers
- Develop test procedures and automation from component to system level
- Support board bring-up, bench validation, and manufacture test bring-up
- Provide feedback to improve quality and test coverage
- Support quality field failure analysis
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience designing functional test equipment and PCBAs
- Experience in Schematic Capture and PCBA layout
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Matlab, PERL, or SHELL)
- Understanding of computer hardware communication bus protocols
- Experience with hands-on electrical engineering work
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of hardware and software integration and test processes
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and VISIO
- Understanding of lab safety protocols
- Detail-oriented and effective team collaborator
- Self-motivated with ability to set direction and identify gaps
