Senior Software Engineer

AngelList is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join one of our engineering teams. We exist to accelerate innovation by giving more people the opportunity to participate in the venture economy. We build financial infrastructure for investing in world-changing startups and tools for startup founders to run their operations.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Help build the world's easiest-to-use financial platform
• Connect startups and investors globally
• Gain in-depth knowledge of the venture financing business
• Take responsibility for your code and improve our codebase
• Ship code every day

We're looking for:

• Full-stack generalists with 4+ years experience building web applications
• Experience writing clean, scalable code with significant experience in scripting languages
• Excitement to move fast, prioritize, and make critical product decisions
• Comfort working outside traditional, narrow engineering roles
• Self-starters who have initiated projects on their own
• A deep love for startups

AngelList has offices in multiple cities, with an engineering hub in San Francisco. We focus on hiring within 1 hour travel distance of the hub office for collaboration. Exceptions may be made for remote work.
