Description For Platform Engineer

Annalise.ai is a pioneering healthcare technology company focused on developing AI-powered medical imaging diagnostic solutions. As a Platform Engineer, you'll be integral to developing cutting-edge solutions with strong design principles, working on exciting greenfield projects. The role involves collaborating with diverse teams including Solution Architects, Software Engineers, and AI Engineers.

The company, powered by Harrison.ai, has raised Australia's largest Series B of $129m in 2021 and has a global presence across APAC, EU, and US regions. Their first product, an AI clinical decision-support solution for chest x-rays, is already being used by 25% of radiologists in Australia and is expanding globally. The solution can detect 124 findings and has been featured in the Lancet Digital Health journal.

The position offers significant autonomy and impact potential, working on complex projects that directly affect healthcare outcomes. You'll be responsible for infrastructure design, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud architecture using AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with cloud-native technologies, infrastructure as code, and containerized applications.

Responsibilities For Platform Engineer

  • Provide operational oversight of configuration, CI/CD pipelines, application containerisation, deployment, orchestration
  • Collaborate with Platform Engineers, Solution Architects and Tech Leads on infrastructure design and implementation
  • Select appropriate design standards, methods and tools
  • Liaise with engineering teams to keep platform components up to date
  • Support key phases of the program including development, build, test and deployment
  • Provide solution and infrastructure support

Requirements For Platform Engineer

Kubernetes
Linux
  • Solid experience as a generalist Platform Engineer
  • Extensive experience using Amazon Web Services - AWS
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
  • Expertise in supporting containerised applications and microservices architectures
  • Experience configuring and maintaining monitoring solutions (Datadog or Prometheus)
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture design
