DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at ANS, you'll be part of a close-knit, highly skilled operations team delivering proactive DevOps services to customers. You'll work on multiple customer environments in Azure and AWS, focusing on automation and meeting agreed deadlines. The role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, customer-centric focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with customer operations teams to improve and develop their DevOps
• Creating and developing automation
• Managing code repositories, build and release pipelines, and application infrastructure
• Defining ANS standards for DevOps processes and technologies
• Tracking time spent on customer backlogs
• Serving as a technical escalation point for cloud engineering
• Upskilling other teams in DevOps technical skills and practices

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of DevOps tooling, including:

• Public Cloud (AWS, Azure)
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps, AWS Code Deploy, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
• Containers (Docker, Kubernetes - AKS, EKS)
• Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Node.js)
• Config Management (Ansible, DSC, Chef, Puppet)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates)
• Monitoring & Logging (AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Logs, Application Insights, ELK, Grafana, Logic Monitor)
