The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a technical GIS developer to join their Enterprise GIS Team within the Office of IT Applications. This role focuses on configuring and developing custom Esri ArcGIS Enterprise applications, working with various technologies including Javascript API, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Portal/Online/Hub. The position involves working with a team of 2 ArcGIS developers, 2 System Administrators, a data manager, and team leader, supporting over 180 ArcGIS Desktop users and approximately 60,000 annual ArcGIS Server web visits.
The role requires expertise in developing enterprise GIS services, applications, and databases, with integration into .NET applications and various database systems. You'll be working under broad supervision, designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications while translating business requirements into development activities.

The team supports critical applications for GIS portal, feature mapping, project planning, emergency operations, permitting, safety, and traffic records.
