Deployed Engineer

Apex is seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and self-motivated individual to join their Business Development & Sales team as a Deployed Engineer. This role involves embedding with Apex's customers to support customer integration with Apex hardware and software test equipment while deeply understanding these customers' needs. The Deployed Engineer will be the tip of the spear for Apex customer engagement, supporting customers as the first step to flying their missions in space.

Responsibilities include:

• Embedding with customers to understand their needs, requirements, and pain points
• Helping customers deploy and operate Apex's bus emulators and flat-sats
• Providing feedback on Apex's emulator products
• Aiding in designing Apex's emulator delivery and integration strategy
• Being a direct technical point of contact between customers and Apex headquarters

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles
• Ability to work independently and make good decisions
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in the space industry
• Basic experience with C/C++ and/or Python
