Description For Hardware In The Loop Engineer Internship (Summer)

Apex is seeking talented engineers for an exciting internship opportunity in Hardware In The Loop (HITL) Engineering. The intern will contribute to developing and improving test infrastructure to verify satellite buses. The scope of work includes Flatsat open-loop testbed, spacecraft test software, hardware-in-the-loop, and plant model development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ is required, with Matlab Simulink modeling skills being a plus.

During the internship program, you'll gain hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities. You'll be assigned a summer project to have real impact, with a dedicated mentor to guide you. You'll participate in learning sessions to elevate your knowledge of aerospace and connect with peers and industry professionals during community events.

Requirements:

  • Graduating in the Fall of 2025 or in the Spring of 2026
