As a Senior Electrical Engineer (Avionics) at Apex, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing critical avionics systems for satellite platforms. Responsibilities For Senior Electrical Engineer (Avionics)
- Electrical architecture and design, product requirements, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, and documentation
- Flight production, development prototyping, vendor selection, and manufacturing
- Circuit and full product bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and confidence, acceptance and qualification testing
- Deliver hardware on time and active project management through schedule maintenance and status reports
- Integration, full vehicle integrated testing, and data review
- Multidisciplinary coordination with software, firmware, mechanical, PCB layout, environments, integration, harnessing, test, manufacturing, and production teams
- Drive improvements in reliability and capabilities while minimizing cost and schedule
Requirements For Senior Electrical Engineer (Avionics)
- U.S. Person status required for export controlled data access
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
- Proficient in designing and developing avionics systems, electrical circuits, and subsystems
- Experience with electrical design tools (eCAD, Altium, LTSpice, PCB design tools)
- Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex electrical engineering problems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with debugging tools (Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
