Responsibilities For Spacecraft AIT Engineer (Early)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing plans and strategies
  • Design, optimize, and implement assembly and integration procedures
  • Work with design engineers to review product designs for manufacturability
  • Develop and implement quality control measures
  • Support assembly and integration of aerospace components and systems
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Stay updated with latest advancements in aerospace manufacturing
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for product transition from development to production

Requirements For Spacecraft AIT Engineer (Early)

  • U.S. Persons status required for export-controlled data access
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, assembly, and integration
  • Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Experience in developing manufacturing plans, assembly procedures, and work instructions
  • Knowledge of quality control methodologies
  • Familiarity with industry standards like AS9100
  • Experience with manufacturing tools and software (CAD/CAM, PLM, ERP systems)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
