Responsibilities For Spacecraft Test Engineer (Senior)
- Develop, execute, and manage test plans, procedures, and protocols for avionics testing/checkouts
- Design and set up test fixtures, equipment, and instrumentation
- Perform avionics system tests, including functional and performance checks
- Analyze test data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive test reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality assurance, HITL & GNC
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and technicians
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in avionics testing
Requirements For Spacecraft Test Engineer (Senior)
- U.S. Persons status required
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in electronics/avionics testing within aerospace industry
- Strong knowledge of aerospace testing standards, protocols, and regulations
- Experience with avionics systems testing, including software and hardware validation
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
