Description For Associate Systems Engineer (Associate Architect)

Appian is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer (internally referred to as "Associate Architect") to scale Appian's technical solutions and work alongside delivery teams. As an Associate Architect, you will be an Appian technical leader within the Federal Customer Success team and an advisor to Appian's clients. This role involves becoming an expert at installing, operating, and scaling the Appian platform, as well as scaling business process applications on their software. The ideal candidate will combine Appian technical, product, and business skills to ensure customer success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer interaction (verbal, written, face-to-face)
  • Managing systems administration for IaaS solutions
  • Administering and managing RDMS platforms
  • Programming and scripting in various languages

Requirements For Associate Systems Engineer (Associate Architect)

  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a minimum of a Secret Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ certification (required prior to or directly following onboarding)
