The role involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native network security visibility and governance capabilities. You'll work on integrating tooling and automation to enhance building processes and support the Security Operations team in automated security detection and response activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leveraging and contributing to a cloud-native platform for rugged systems governing data flows and investigative use cases
- Partnering with security operations analysts, compliance analysts, and builders to create empathic paved path solutions
- Tuning data processing pipeline performance for dependability, performance, and cost efficiency
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on security-minded projects in cloud environments
- 3+ years experience in cloud infrastructure development using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation (preferred)
- Experience with AWS Transit Gateway and Direct Connect
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking technologies such as Cilium or Istio
- Proficiency in Terraform and Golang, Python, or Java
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
